Once again, we are delighted with this year’s outcomes at Dene Magna School. It has been an incredibly tough year for everyone, but this year group have been hit particularly hard. They have been denied the opportunity to show what they can do in an exam series, but they have seen that hard work and determination over a long period of time really does count. As they make their next steps into this strange new world, we are so proud of what they have achieved and we wish them all the best for the future.

As a year group, they have helped us to maintain our excellent record for results and we are particularly proud that as a school, these figures have remained consistently outstanding over a number of years.  Included in these figures are a number of incredible success stories for students of all abilities and those who have been through some very tough times. We are so happy that they have thrived with us and will now go on to achieve great things.

With media discussion about centre assessed grades, I am proud to say that the results our students were awarded were in line with our usual excellent outcomes and they prove how seriously we took the moderation process when entering the grades. For us, this makes the achievements of this year group all the sweeter and we cannot wait to welcome the students back into our sixth form from September.
