HAY FESTIVAL is digital this year, 18 - 31 May, and FREE to view! This gives us easy access to many amazing author events which are available to view anytime after 8 am on the day they are scheduled. While the events are free to view, you can 'register your interest' against each event you wish to join and invite family and friends to meet you there online for a shared experience.

18 - 22 May the focus is on events for children/schools, and they have a fantastic line-up including Cressida Cowell, Emma Carroll, Liz Pichon, Michelle Paver. Students, Coronavirus Lockdown stopped our Performance Poet coming to school in April, but here is opportunity to see TWO - the hip hop artist, performance poet and author Karl Nova, and science rapper Jon Chase (yes, you can combine care of the environment with creative writing and rapping).  More information for students in the LRC Google Classroom 6w36hf4
