Design & Technology Department request:

In September, we will be running a new Metalwork project, with a jewellery theme. We will also be offering Metalwork as a study option at GCSE.

This is a request to parents and relatives for Copper! You may have offcuts of pipes (used or unused) from a DIY project or as a professional Plumber or Electrician have materials, as we also need Copper wire of varying gauges please. Basically, any Copper is of use and soft solder!

We are also after small off cuts of thick pile carpet, that will be used to support Copper sheet for embossing and any tools that would have been used for Jewellery making and no longer required.
