This is a unique role and we will need you to play a vital role in supporting our A Level students so that they can realise their academic potential, becoming independent and resilient learners who will go on to achieve great things in life.
You will be supporting groups of students to achieve their academic targets. Like all young people, our A Level students have experienced a significant disruption to their education, not just during their A Level studies but also prior to this at GCSE. You will be instrumental in working alongside our staff in helping them to ‘fill the gaps’ in their learning, developing independent study skills and supporting subjects to deliver high quality interventions. In addition to this, we want you to inspire them as they take their next steps onto higher level apprenticeships and degree programmes.
You will also take an active role in inspiring and motivating students to achieve and maintain excellent punctuality and attendance.
The successful applicant will join Dene Magna’s existing team of highly professional and committed staff.
The Forest of Dean Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We particularly welcome applications from underrepresented groups including ethnicity, gender, transgender, age, disability, sexual orientation or religion.
