KS3 Topics: Throughout KS3 students are taught the following recurring themes: Computational thinking and problem solving, programming in blocks and python, understanding computers, code breaking and cyber security, Digital literacy

How many lessons per fortnight? 2

ILT information: Complete badges towards the The Duke of York Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award (iDEA) and programming challenges using online platforms

Assessment: Online assessments on completion of a topic (approximately every half term)

Out of classroom opportunities: Entered into Bebras- national computational thinking competition , Lego League, Cyber First competition, Y9 students with an interest in pursuing GCSE Computer Science  attend an introduction to hacking at Cyber Security Associates in Gloucester
